Pallet network distribution into the French commercial network.

Where a consignor needs to drop pallets to many French consignees — store replenishment, ecommerce distribution, multi-site B2B — the pallet network model is the right tool. We feed our French network partner with palletised volume; their hub-and-spoke handles last-mile delivery across the country.

WHAT IT IS

Palletised freight.

  • Hub-and-spoke distribution: UK pallet collected and consolidated; trunk movement to France; French network last-mile to the consignee
  • Standard EUR pallet or UK pallet — oversize and overweight pallets handled by exception
  • Defined service tiers — economy, standard, premium — with corresponding network-published cut-off times
  • Pallet-level tracking through the network's scanner-driven proof-of-handling
  • POD captured at the consignee against the network barcode and returned to the consignor file

Palletised distribution is delivered via our membership of a UK ↔ France pallet network (). Service level, cut-off times and reach are inherited from the network's published schedule.

BEST FOR

When this mode is the right call.

  • Multi-drop distribution into the wider French commercial network
  • Store replenishment, DC inbound, ecommerce fulfilment
  • B2B shippers with regular pallet flow but variable per-drop volumes
  • Lanes where the pallet network already has a published last-mile service to the consignee

NOT IDEAL WHEN

  • High-value sealed cargo that must not be handled in a network hub (use FTL)
  • Single-consignee high-volume runs (use FTL or LTL)
  • Pallets that exceed the network's standard handling envelope (use FTL with bespoke loading)

HOW THE CONSIGNMENT MOVES

From booking to POD.

01

Brief and quote

Send origin postcode, destination postcode, pallet count, pallet type, weight and any handling instructions. Rate returned per pallet with the network service tier.

02

Booking and label

Pallet booked into the network platform. Booking labels generated and sent to the consignor for application to each pallet.

03

Collection to UK hub

Consignor pallet(s) collected to the UK regional hub. Network scanner records each pallet on entry — first proof-of-handling.

04

Trunk to French hub

Pallets consolidated onto trunk trailers and run into the French network hub. Customs cleared at trailer level; per-pallet declarations are tied to the booking manifest.

05

French distribution

French network breaks the trunk into regional last-mile rounds. Pallets reach the consignee within the published service tier.

06

POD return

Consignee signs against the network barcode. Scanned POD returned to the consignor file electronically.
